In NetSuite, the cloud ERP, there is a maximum supported size, just as there is when working with files in other systems. NetSuite has a memory storage capacity of up to 10 MB, so the following steps must be taken when working with files larger than 10 MB.
First, the files you want to use are stored in a file cabinet, a feature that allows you to store files in separate folders.
Although there is a guideline for the maximum file size for file cabinets, it is possible to store files that are much larger than the normal file size that NetSuite can handle.
Files stored in the file cabinet are assigned a unique ID, so that even if you want to use a large file for development or other purposes, you can access it using that ID.
File cabinets can also be used to store and collaborate on documents for internal use.
